1950’s Atlanta Fixer Upper

Our very first fix and flip home in Atlanta. This one was a mix of “we have no idea what we are doing” & “we absolutely do!” 😂

An Atlanta wholesaler brought us this property on a Thursday morning & by Friday afternoon we were sitting at the closing table! Yep, we jumped & figured it out along the way.

It had been years since Brian had done any construction & we had no crew, so we rolled up our sleeves and did the work ourselves.

We brought our boys along for demo day & several other days too as we wrapped up this project.

Lessons were learned. We spent way too much money on bandaides & late night snacks, but it was well worth it! Working so closely together brought us closer together. We laughed. We cried. And experienced all the emotions along the way & I wouldn’t trade anything for this experience.

We took this house all the way down to the studs, moved walls, replaced all the electrical, plumbing & HVAC. We stayed (mostly) on budget & finished this entire rehab in 10 weeks from closing to putting this house on the market.
